Your First Visit to Our Burgess Hill Practice
During your first visit you will initially be greeted at reception by our clinic assistant. We will ask you to complete a health history and to watch a short orientation dvd. This will help you understand the process of the first visit and what to expect. If this is your first visit to a chiropractor then it will help put you at ease. When you have watched the dvd and completed the initial forms you will be met by the chiropractor who will provide a consultation and examination in private. You are welcome to bring along a chaperone for the examination. We will provide a special gown for you to wear which exposes your spine. This is very important for a full and thorough examination.
After the examination your chiropractor may recommend spinal X-rays to be taken. If you consent to this we can usually take the X-rays during your first visit. When the examination is complete the chiropractor will return with you to reception where your second visit will be scheduled. The first visit lasts for 30 mins to 1 hour.
