Our Approach
Treatment Rehabilitation Wellbeing
Chiropractic draws on the physiological fact that the nervous system co-ordinates & controls the other organs of the body and relates the person to their environment.
When your spinal joints are put under too much pressure the nerves, muscles, bones and discs can all be affected.
This has historically been known as a ‘vertebral subluxation’
- but as this is not limited to the spinal joints it may commonly be referred to as a 'restriction' or 'fixation'.
Your modern day Doctor of Chiropractic is trained in clinical anatomy, neurology, orthopaedics, biomechanics and other specific skills needed to identify and then reduce or correct your problems - without drugs or surgery!
This is achieved by using a variety of safe manual and soft tissue release techniques. These are called adjustments and may be applied to your spine, pelvis, limbs and other parts of your body.
We look at the human body as having the potential to be healthy - meaning we did not evolve just to be sick!
Wellbeing is all about health - not just hiding symptoms. We provide treatment and rehabilitation to empower our patients who seek our help to reach their full potential - regardless of age.
